MAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH ORIGINS THAI SPA

We are service-by-appointment only at this time. We prefer that you book your appointment ahead by either calling us at (703) 376 8711 or by going online to www.OriginsThaiSpa.com. After you book online, you will receive confirmation by e-mail and/or by telephone. Be advised that a credit card is required to secure all appointments.

We suggest that you arrive about 10-15 minutes before your appointment time in order to complete the intake form, have a brief conversation with your massage therapist regarding your medical history and to discuss what you hope to accomplish with your massage treatment. It also helps to be early in order to relax and to allow you to free your mind. After all, a good massage isn’t just about physical benefits, but also about relieving the stress that can plague our bodies. Being in the proper state of mind helps to accomplish that goal.

FIRST TIME VISIT TO ORIGINS THAI SPA

For the first time you visit Origins Thai Spa, you may be required to complete an Intake Form. Please take a moment to carefully review the Intake form and to fill it out completely. In some cases, massage or bodywork can be contraindicated (inadvisable), so it is important that we know f you have a specific medical condition or specific symptoms which would affect our ability to give you a massage. In certain cases, a referral from your primary care provider may be required prior to service being provided.

DURING THE MASSAGE . . .

Sometimes – especially for those new to massage – you can feel quite vulnerable during a massage. That’s why it is important for you to communicate with your therapist throughout the massage if your therapist is applying too much pressure or if you feel uncomfortable.

AFTER THE MASSAGE . . .

After you finish the session, your therapist will discuss with you the areas where they found tension and tightness, and they will offer recommendations on what type of massage you will need moving forward. Before you leave, the therapist will offer you hot tea or water and a refreshing hot towel before proceeding to check out. We look forward to seeing you next time.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

Origins Thai Spa provides the highest quality therapeutic massage. Origins has a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to inappropriate behavior. If any behavior is considered inappropriate, including touching, sexual innuendo and/or rude requests, the session will be terminated immediately and full payment is expected.

CANCELLATIONS / NO-SHOW POLICY

Your scheduled appointment is very important to us and we understand that life happens, and schedule adjustments may be necessary. While we do our best to work with your busy schedule please keep in mind that your appointment is reserved especially for you and the time is held. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we respectfully ask that you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment (with no charge). Although we will make every effort to work with your schedule, we will be required to charge a fee equal to 50% if cancelled less than 24 hours or before appointment time. For no-show appointments, cancelled the time of the appointment or after appointment time, please understand we pass the opportunity to fill that time; we will be required to charge 100% of the service amount.

Late Policy: Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment start time. Your scheduled appointment is set to start on time and be completed on time.

GRATUITIES

Our massage therapists aim to provide you with the highest quality massage treatments. Although gratuities are not required, they are greatly appreciated. The typical gratuity ranges from 15-20% of the price of the service and we prefer gratuities be separated with the service fees. If you would like to leave your massage therapist a gratuity, you may do so by leaving cash or a personal check. We are unable to accept tips on your credit card.

We offer membership programs for patients who want to come on a regular basis. Our massage therapists will be happy to work out a treatment program for you. Not only do members receive a discount on the price of their massage, but they also receive guest passes for friends and family, reward points and a number of other special offers (more details are provided on the Membership page of our website), so please speak to one of our massage therapists today to activate your membership.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Origins Thai Spa gift certificates make a wonderful and unique gift for any special occasion, holiday or cause for celebration. Gift certificates are not refundable, not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit.
