Sports Massage can be used after a sporting event to; relieve soreness, sedate/relax athlete, assist in re-establishing circulation and remove metabolic waste to drain away fatigue and relieve swelling. Techniques used include gliding, compression, circular friction, stretching, Range Of Motion (ROM) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique (PNF).
